- Reference constants?
- Standard atmosphere = 101,325 Pa. 1 psi ≈ 6,894.757 Pa. Medical mmHg uses the same Torr scale approximately.
- Gauge vs absolute pressure?
- This tool converts units only. Add/subtract atmospheric pressure if you need absolute vs gauge.
- Why two tyre pressure units?
- US uses psi; EU labels often show bar or kPa—convert to compare.
- Is mmHg exactly Torr?
- They are treated as equal for most practical conversions.
- Pascal vs kilopascal?
- 1 kPa = 1,000 Pa. Weather often uses hPa (hectopascal), which equals millibar (mbar).
